It is very rare that an actor continues to trend on social media platforms even after 3 years of demise, but Sushant Singh Rajput is that one rare gem. The actor has been trending on social media today and it is all thanks to India’s Chandrayaan -3.
Back in 2018, it was reported that the actor has been signed on to do a film called Chanda Mama Door Ke, where he was supposed to play an astronaut.The actor on many occasions had revealed that it was his lifelong dream to become an astronaut, it was a mega budget film that never went on floors.
The reason for the film to never go on the floor was its ever expanding budget. At one point the film needed a budget of Rs 67 crore just to complete the production, and more money would be needed to do promotion and prints and publicity. And suddenly an ambitious project turned out very expensive to complete.
In fact as a part of his training for the film, Sushant had gone over to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to get himself trained to play an astronaut. But all his efforts went in vain when the film got shelved. SSR still wanted to go back and get a certified instructor’s course done.
Talking about it, Sushant had shared with a media outlet, “I had done a workshop at NASA when I went there two years ago. Those who trained me had said that if I continued for a few more weeks, I would have received a certificate of instructor. So now, I am planning to go to Houston to complete the training. It consists of everything that you need to know about going to space, including sitting in the centrifuge.”
