There will be Amavasya throughout the night on 31st October. Diwali happens at night only. Mahalakshmi puja is done at Nisha puja. There is importance of stable ascendant. There is a tradition of worshiping Lakshmi only in a stable ascendant. All these facilities are available on 31st. Today, the best time for worship on Diwali is from 627 pm to 823 pm in fixed ascendant Taurus.
