Skoda Auto India will increase prices by up to 3% on most of its vehicle models starting January 1, 2025, due to rising input and operational costs. The price hike will affect models including the Kushaq, Slavia, Superb, and Kodiaq. However, the recently launched Kylaq SUV will be exempt from this increase until it reaches 33,333 bookings. Škoda aims to reach 1 lakh cumulative sales in India by 2026, leveraging the Kylaq’s popularity and its expanded market presence. The company also highlighted reaching 100,000 sales in the last two years, its fastest achievement of this milestone in India. What led to the price hike?
The price increase is attributed to “rising input and operational costs.” Škoda Auto India stated the price adjustment is necessary to “ensure the company continues to deliver high-quality, premium vehicles and services to its customers,” stated the company. The new prices will take effect on January 1, 2025.
The Kushaq, Slavia, Superb, and Kodiaq models will all see price increases up to 3%. The exact percentage increase for each model may vary.
