In fact, 18 -year -old Magore was reported for suspected bowling action during the first ODI against India in Rajkot on 10 January, where he took 3 wickets for 57 runs in 8 overs. This was followed by his action on 21 January at the ICC -recognized test center in Lofborough, where it was revealed that the elbow’s angle in his bowling action was more than 15 degrees. According to the ICC rule, the bowler can bend his hand only up to 15 degrees. Action is considered illegal when it is more than this.
ICC released a statement
A ICC release said that Amy is immediately banned from bowling in international cricket. The ban on them will remain in force until their bowling action is revalved, which confirms that she can bowl with legitimate action. Magore was recently included in the Ireland team for the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup in Malaysia. Since the evaluation was over in the middle of the window tournament, they had to be called back. Maguire made his international debut in 2023. So far he has played 11 ODIs and nine T20I matches, in which he has taken a total of 25 wickets. His best bowling performance has been 5 wickets for 19 runs in ODIs against England.
