Delhi election result live: The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the Delhi government issued a notice to Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday, asking him to join a probe it launched into the latter’s allegation that the BJP tried to bribe AAP MLAs. Delhi election result live: AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the ECI had refused to upload form 17C and the number of votes polled per booth in each assembly despite several requests.

“The Aam Aadmi Party has made a website, http://transparentelections.in, where we have uploaded all the form 17C of every assembly. This form has all the details of votes polled in each booth,” he said.

“Through the day, we will present the data of every assembly and every booth in a tabulated format as well so that every voter can access this information. This is something that the election commission should have done in the interest of transparency but it is unfortunate that they are refusing to do it,” he added.

Delhi election result live: Priyanka Kakkar alleged that ACB officials reached Arvind Kejriwal’s residence without a legal notice.

“This is just BJP’s frustration. Before their defeat (in Delhi Assembly Elections), they want to trouble Arvind Kejriwal once again,” she said.

“They have been made based on facts, and many people have received phone calls. It is well-known how the BJP operates. While others focus on counting of votes after elections, they focus on such tactics,” Pathak said.

Delhi election result live: AAP legal cell president Sanjeev Nasiarquestioned the ACB’s authority to probe ‘poaching’ allegations and alleged a BJP “conspiracy.”

“They (ACB officials) have no authorisation to conduct to take action. They are talking to someone over the phone. They don’t have any documents. They are unaware that Sanjay Singh is already there at the ACB office to file a complaint. All this is a conspiracy by the BJP to create a political drama. When we asked about the notice, they were taking instructions to prepare the notice. It is not clear whether they are taking instructions from BJP headquarters or from somewhere else,” the advocate said.

Delhi election result live: AAP MLA candidate Avadh Ojha alleged that party MLAs informed him that the BJP approached 10 to 15 of them to switch loyalties.

Ojha, a former UPSC civil services educator, is contesting from the Patparganj assembly constituency. He was named as the replacement candidate for AAP leader Manish Sisodia who represented the constituency thrice.

Delhi election result live: Delhi LG’s principal secretary has written to the chief secretary, directing an ACB inquiry into allegations of bribes being offered to AAP MLAs.

The inquiry was ordered following a complaint by the BJP to the Delhi LG, in which the party stated, “allegations are false and baseless and made with an intent to tarnish the image of BJP and create panic and situation of unrest in Delhi immediately after the conclusion of Polling…”

Delhi election result live: Reacting to AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal’s allegations of a poaching attempt, BJP MP Deepak Prakash accused him of deceit, saying, “Liquor scam accused Arvind Kejriwal is full of lies and fraud… He deceived Anna Hazare, people of the country, and especially Delhi’s people… This time people recognised this and his party has been ousted in Delhi… Arvind Kejriwal spreads delusion, he goes to jail and then presents himself as a freedom fighter…”

Commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, he stated, “Prime Minister’s resolution is Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and therefore he considers everyone in the country… Everyone knows of the Congress’ behaviour with its own people, they defeated Baba Saheb Ambedkar as well… Murderers of Democracy roam with the constitution in their pocket…”

Speaking about the Milkipur by-election and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Prakash remarked, “… Akhilesh Yadav hinted at losing elections before its results… This clarifies that BJP is winning there with a huge majority.”

Delhi election result live: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders gathered at party chief Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in Delhi on Friday for a crucial meeting ahead of the Assembly Election results set to be announced tomorrow.

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP’s Kalkaji candidate Atishi, along with Patparganj candidate Awadh Ojha, were among those who arrived at Kejriwal’s residence at 5, Ferozeshah Road for the discussions.

Speaking about the meeting, party MP Sanjay Singh said, “Let the meeting begin… The agenda is that we have to win tomorrow with a thumping majority.”

AAP’s Shahdara candidate Jitender Singh Shunty reaffirmed his support for Arvind Kejriwal, expressing confidence that the party would secure victory and form the government in Delhi.

Delhi election result live: Reacting to AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s allegations of horse-trading attempts, BJP leader Tarun Chugh dismissed the claims, calling them baseless. He said, “All these allegations are the product of the conspiratorial evil mind of Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP-DA party because they know they are going to lose badly (the Delhi Elections)… Strict legal action should be taken against this lie.”

Delhi election result live: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is expected to hold a meeting with all 70 of its candidates today, ahead of the Delhi Assembly election results set for February 8.

According to sources, the meeting is scheduled for 11:30 am and will focus on the party’s preparations for the results, along with discussions on allegations of MLAs being poached.

Delhi election result live: Delhi’s Chief Electoral Officer R Alice Vaz announced on Thursday that all Returning Officers across the capital’s 70 Assembly constituencies have completed scrutinizing election documents, including Form 17C, presiding officers’ diaries, and other records.

The scrutiny process was conducted in the presence of General Observers, candidates, and their agents to maintain transparency.

“All election-related documents were found in proper order during the scrutiny process. The presence of observers, candidates and representatives ensured transparency and fairness in the electoral process,” said the Delhi CEO.

Vaz also confirmed that no re-polling was required, as no candidate raised complaints during the scrutiny.

Delhi election result live: The BJP on Thursday analyzed the voting trends in the Delhi Assembly elections and expressed confidence in winning around 50 seats.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva stated that voters had cast their ballots on Wednesday in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s double-engine development model for the city.

Following the review meeting, he claimed that the BJP would secure around 50 seats and achieve an unprecedented victory to form the government in Delhi on February 8.
