Samay Raina’s popular YouTube show India’s Got Latent is under scrutiny over a guest’s remark. The episode featuring Raina, Ranveer AllahbadiaApoorva makhija, Ashish Chanchlaniand Jaspreet Singh has been removed. Amid legal issues, Chanchlani’s lawyer has shared an update.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ashish’s lawyer was seen in the city and confirmed that he is representing him. When asked about the legal case, he said, “The media will have updates soon. I can’t say much right now. The matter is in court, so we can’t comment.”

In the video, Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate joke about a contestant, sparking widespread outrage. He asked, “Would you rather watch your parents have s*x every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” Viewers were unhappy and criticized Ranveer Allahbadia, best known as BeerBiceps.
Ranveer Allahbadia and the other guests, including Ashish Chanchlani, were named in a police FIR for promoting obscenity and vulgarity.
The controversy ignited a national debate on humor’s limits in the digital age, drawing scrutiny from the National Human Rights Commission, which urged YouTube to remove such content. Reports suggest Parliament may also summon Ranveer Allahbadia and the others.
