Nitish Kumar Reddy’s performance in the current IPL season has been underwhelming after a promising start. In seven matches, he has scored 131 runs with a low average (21.83) and strike rate (113.91), failing to score a half-century. While he’s taken on the responsibility of stabilizing the innings after early wickets, this has led to a more cautious approach, curbing his natural attacking instincts. This shift in his batting also coincides with Sunrisers Hyderabad’s overall strategy adjustment towards adapting to conditions rather than their initial hyper-aggressive approach following some batting collapses.
