CTBC Flying Oyster needed to prove that their series against T1 was not a fluke. They did just that against Movistar KOI, with a dominant 3-1 victory. KOI is now out of MSI, and with them, the hopes of the EU are crushed. CFO will continue in MSI to face Anyone’s Legend.

Summary
Driver starts the first game of the series. The TP from Driver is too far forward. He gets chunked, which leads to him getting dived by Elyoya, Supa, and Alvaro. Elyoya tries to play with Jojopyun to kill Driver. JunJia shows up to help his top laner and gives him two kills. The solo laners from CFO get kills on their opposite laners. CFO uses the advantages to secure four towers.
KOI gets their second Drake, but the game is falling out of their grip. CFO begins Atakan, kills Jojopyun, and gets the objective. Supa gets a shutdown on Driver, which leads to a mid-tier one for KOI. On the Chemtech Drake Soul point, KOI punishes CFO and gets the objective. The response from CFO is to force Baron. They get the objective and win the fight with two kills. The Baron push from CFO destroys the bot lane inhibitor. With the waves pushing into KOI, CFO denies Chemtech Soul. Alvaro thinks he has caught HongQ, but instead, he gives HongQ the ultimate angle. From the fight victory, CFO wins the game.

Summary
JunJia combines with Kaiwing to gank the KOI botlane. Doggo secures a double kill to neutralize the Caitlyn lane. The fight for the second Drake starts well for CFO with a catch on Supa. Mywryn’s position on Ambessa allows KOI to trade evenly. The game remains close as we near the third Drake. The teams trade 1 for 1, but it is CFO who gets the objective
. After JunJia forces a play on Supa, he gets chunked. KOI uses the opportunity to get Atakan and kill HongQ. KOI walks into CFO on the Drake fight but is caught by Kaiwing’s ultimate. CFO gets the ace and takes Baron into Mountain Soul Point. The Baron powerplay from CFO extends the lead to 7k gold. KOI gives up Mountain Soul to force Baron. It goes wrong for KOI as they also lose the fight on Baron. CFO barrels down the mid-lane to win the game and move to match point.

Summary
Rest subs in for game three. HongQ solo kills Jojopyun twice. Irelia has a significant gold lead in the early game, thanks to the power of Irelia and two ganks from Elyoya. CFO dives Jojopyun, securing the kill but loses HongQ on the other side. Supa arrives in the bot lane to clear up the low-health Rest and Doggo from the dive. KOI continues to build a lead, up 5k at 19 minutes. KOI gets Atakan right after the objective spawns. CFO does not reduce the gold lead as the game continues. KOI brings CFO to Baron, takes the objective, and wins the fight to end the game.

Summary
Driver is back for game four. Doggo and Kaiwing dominate the bot lane in the early game to get a gold lead. The laning advantage and movements around the map give CFO a 3k gold lead at 12 minutes with a first tower. KOI finds a play on the fed Aphelios, but they are still behind in gold and Drakes.
KOI spends too long on the Atakan but is punished in the long fight. CFO gets three kills and the objective. Elyoya steals the Ocean Soul to keep some hope, but CFO aces KOI. Off the back of a Baron take and a Moonlight Vigil from Doggo, CFO gains space to get the Ocean Soul. CFO ends the game and the series.
Reaction
The last hope of Europe is out of MSI. Both KOI and G2 Esports disappointed at this international. In the games they lost, KOI never looked like they would win, which is concerning. CFO deserves all the recognition for the performance they put up in this series. They took every lead they had and never looked back in the games. They face AL in the next round.
