The 1.0-litre petrol-AT is smoother while the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol DCT is better for performance.
I have finalised the Skoda Kushaq, but I am confused about whether I should go for the 1.0 TSI AT or the 1.5 TSI DSG. My daily commute is about 15km within the city. Which powertrain would be more suitable for my needs? Should I prioritise fuel efficiency or performance?

Autocar India says: If your commute is just 15km in the city, we would recommend the Kushaq 1.0 TSI AT, as it’s actually smoother in stop-and-go traffic than the 1.5 TSI DSG. The difference is in the gearboxes: the 1.0 TSI has a torque converter automatic, which is smoother than the 1.5 TSI’s twin-clutch unit, which can feel a bit jerky at low speeds. The twin-clutch feels best when you have open roads to make quick shifts. Also, the 1.0 TSI’s performance is quite good, and you won’t be left wanting for power in the city.
