Volvo Car India has launched the refreshed XC60 mild hybrid at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹71,90,000. The MY26 model features updates in design, technology, and comfort, and was introduced at an event held at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
Design and technology updates
The XC60 now features an updated user interface powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform processor. The system includes an 11.2-inch touchscreen, offering improved processing and image quality, as well as over-the-air updates, the company’s official statement said.
The redesigned grille, slimmer front profile, and revised darkened taillights contribute to a new exterior appearance. It comes with 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and is offered in colour options such as Forest Lake, Crystal White, Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Bright Dusk, and Vapour Grey.
Inside, the XC60 features genuine wood inlays, new upholstery options including a Blond interior trim, a 12.3-inch driver display, and a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system with a total output of 1410W. Additional features include wireless phone charging, a graphical head-up display, a 4-zone climate control system with PM 2.5 sensor, and improved storage and seating functions.
Safety and driving assistance
The vehicle includes a range of driving assistance features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Pilot Assist, Lane Keeping Aid, and Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert and brake support. It also has Collision Mitigation Support for both front and rear. Parking support is provided through a 360-degree camera and parking assistance on all sides.
Connectivity features include built-in Google services with a five-year subscription and integration with the Volvo Cars App. The infotainment system is Android-based and includes Apple CarPlay (wired).
Powertrain and comfort
The XC60 B5 is powered by a 1969 cc petrol mild-hybrid engine delivering 250 hp and 360 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The 48-volt mild hybrid system supports efficiency and responsiveness.
