Per this week’s schedule, she could thrive against the Golden State Valkyries patchworked backcourt.
Julie GermanG, Los Angeles Sparks (13.2%)
While she’s one of the more popular additions across fantasy leagues this past week, Allemand’s elite command of the Sparks’ awesome offense merits even more attention. The floor for passing production is now quite stable, while a strong steal rate and improving 3-point prowess combine to make a compelling option for fantasy managers who need pure point guard play.
Frontcourt
Dominique MalongaC, Seattle Storm (31.0%):
Even as she’s behind Homening Toys on the frontcourt, Malonga has been a true force for the Storm in recent weeks. With awesome rebounding production and improved touch in the paint, Malonga has become the rare frontcourt microwave. She could thrive in multiple matchups with Atlanta this week.
Jessica ShepardF, Minnesota Lynx (23.6%)
Some patience is required with Shepard, as she’s returning from an ankle injury that appears to still limit her play. But the patience should be rewarded, as Shepard stands to handle a sizable workload in the wake of Napheesa Collier‘s injury. With just one game later this week, Shepard could be ready to rock for Saturday’s pivotal home matchup with the Liberty.
