Ducati has launched the 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S in India. The updated, flagship adventure touring motorcycles bring minor changes to styling and an improved electronics package.

Extended cylinder deactivation system improves efficiency by a claimed 6 percent
The 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S continue to be powered by the 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine producing 170hp at 10,750rpm and 124Nm at 9,000rpm, but now feature an advanced extended cylinder deactivation system. Beyond switching off the rear cylinders when stationary, the system also keeps the rear bank deactivated at slow speeds, reducing fuel consumption and emissions by a claimed 6 percent compared to the previous model. Above a sizeable power request from the throttle, the rear cylinders reactivate. Ducati has also mentioned that the engine is compatible with E20 fuel regulations.

Multistrada V4 now gets DVO system for improved electronic aids
For 2025, Ducati has brought the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system from the Panigale V4 onto the Multistrada. This system simulates input from 70 sensors to enhance the precision of the ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC).
The radar system on the V4 S now also gets a new Forward Collision Warning (FCW) function that alerts riders of potential collisions ahead via the dashboard. This works alongside existing Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) features.
While the base Multistrada V4 features fully-adjustable Marzocchi suspension, the V4 S gets an updated semi-active system. The V4 S also features self-leveling functionality and bump detection that adapts rear suspension response to road conditions in real time. The bikes also get an updated Automatic Lowering Device, which automatically lowers the bike by up to 30mm when speed drops below 10kph, making it easier to handle when stationary or maneuvering at low speeds.
The 2025 Multistrada V4 offers five riding modes, adding a new Wet mode designed for reduced grip conditions. The Enduro mode has also been recalibrated. Other key features that have been carried over include three-level Engine Brake Control (EBC), a bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, and Vehicle Hold Control (VHC).
2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Price
Price increase of upwards of Rs 1.5 lakh over outgoing model
Prices for the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 now start at Rs 22.98 lakh for the base V4 and Rs 28.64 lakh for the V4 S, representing hikes of Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.91 lakh, respectively, over the outgoing models. The V4 S can also be had with spoke wheels, which add Rs 1.26 lakh to the price.
