The Shine 100 DX is Honda’s latest 100cc commuter motorcycle in our market. The DX is essentially an up-spec variant of the Shine 100 which preceded it. As such, it brings with it some improvements – both mechanical and feature-wise – to the table. For starters, it comes with a 10 litre fuel tank (1 litre more than the base Shine 100) and tubeless tyres, both of which are sure to pay dividends in the real world.
To differentiate the DX from the base Shine 100, Honda has given it a chrome garnish on the headlight cowl and four new colours. The Shine 100 DX’s colour palette is relatively brighter than its more affordable sibling especially if you choose the red and blue options. For those who prefer more traditionally staid colours, there’s also a more subdued grey and the ubiquitous black colour too. Prices for all four colours are exactly the same at Rs 75,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
