Honda has announced a price cut on its range of motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs. 18,887, depending on the model and variant. The Japanese bike maker has decided to pass on the full GST benefits to its customers.
Under the new GST rates, two-wheelers under 350cc are taxed at 18 per cent, down from the earlier 28 per cent. Barring Honda’s premium imported big bikes (above 350cc), almost the entire portfolio has seen a price cut. This includes Honda’s popular bread and butter models like the Activa, Shine 125, Unicorn, CB350 and more.

While Honda has announced the price cut for bikes falling under the 18 per cent GST bracket, the company is yet to reveal the price hikes that its premium bike will receive. Under the new GST rates, two-wheelers above 350cc will be taxed at 40 per cent, up from the earlier 31 per cent.
