MotoGP heads to Misano for Round 16 this weekend. While Marc Marquez won’t be able to wrap up the title at the San Marino GP, he will be looking to return to winning ways after being defeated by his brother Alex at the Catalan GP. But that’s not all; there’s plenty more racing in store.
F1 may be on break this weekend, but we could still see Max Verstappen racing, with the reigning world champion expected to make his Nurburgring Endurance Racing debut. The DTM sports car racing series also returns, with Round 7 at the Red Bull Ring.
Here is your complete guide on when and where to tune in from India:
MotoGP San Marino GP schedule
Marc Marquez’ victory streak was finally broken by his brother Alex at the Catalan GP last weekend. So, the Ducati rider will have to wait another race to have a shot at clinching his seventh MotoGP title. But there’s still plenty to play for at Misano to set up that match point, specially since this is Ducati’s home race. Alex Marquez, on the other hand, will be hoping to clinch his very first back-to-back race wins in MotoGP.
Another team to watch out for is Yamahawho has revealed its new V4-powered YZR-M1 prototype at Misano. The bike will make its race debut this weekend with test rider Augusto Fernandez.

Nurburgring NLS schedule
The Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) is attracting a lot more attention than usual this weekend, and that’s because reigning F1 world champion Max Verstappen is expected to make this Nurburgring endurance racing debut at the event. The Dutchman participated in an official test session earlier this year, under the pseudonym ‘Franz Hermann’ and even unofficially broke the NLS GT3 lap record. However, the exact specifications and set-up of his Ferrari 296 GT3 aren’t confirmed.
There are two races this weekend, each one will be four-hours long. Verstappen isn’t part of the provisional entry list. But rather interestingly, two of Lionspeed GP’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 racecars are entered under the name of Chris Lulham, who is Verstappen’s sim racing teammate.
