I wrote the film, and after writing it, I was asked to leave Tere Naam.” When explaining his demand, Kashyap told Samdish Bhatia, “The film was based in Agra/Mathura. Have you ever seen people shaving their chest hair there? So, yes, I was making Tere Naam.”
