‘Magazine Dreams’: Jonathan Majors’ bodybuilder goes down a dark path
Jonathan Majors plays a socially awkward bodybuilder seeking fame and heading down an increasingly dangerous path in the dark drama “Magazine Dreams.”
Meagan Good has no regrets about choosing to stand by her husbandJonathan Majors.
During an appearance on the “Tamron Hall Show,” the newlyweds opened up about falling in love with each other in the middle of public scrutiny after Majors was found guilty in 2023 of assaulting his former girlfriend, Grace jabbari. The “Creed III” actor was later sentenced to probation and a one-year program focused on domestic violence intervention.
Majors and Good announced that they tied the knot earlier this year. The couple first sparked dating rumors in May 2023, and later confirmed their engagement in November 2024.
The model and “Harlem” actress said Majors’ trial brought them closer.
“We actively choose to spend this time healing, we actively choose to go to therapy, we actively choose to confide in each other and have real conversations that, regardless if we end up together or not, will be life-changing conversations,” Good told host Tamron Hall. “Ultimately in that became love.”
Majors said that despite his life being consumed by controversy and legal proceedings, his heart and spirit could not be clearer.
“A part of my heart and a part of my spirit is attracted and is being called to this other person,” Majors said.
Earlier this year, Majors spoke to USA TODAY about how he has changed since his legal troubles began, adding that Good helped him understand his need to connect instead of being an “isolationist.”
“There is a need to have support and help, and you have to help and support yourself – your full self, not just your mind, not just your body, not just your heart,” he said. “Everything has to be supported to be made whole. Am I whole now? Nowhere close. But there’s an understanding that I’m not whole now.”
