Kia India has expanded the lineup of its Lacking Clavis by introducing a new HTX (O) Trim and multiple six-seater variants across existing models. The company said the move was in response to growing customer demand for greater choice and flexibility within the model range.
The new HTX(O) trim, priced at ₹19.26 lakh (ex-showroom), comes with a Smartstream G1.5 Turbo-GDi petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The trim is available in both six- and seven-seater configurations.
Whenever has also introduced six-seater versions in the HTK+ (G1.5T 7DCT and D1.5 6AT) and HTK+(O) (G1.5T 7DCT) trims. The revised Carens Clavis range now includes eight trims — HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, HTX+, and the new HTX(O).
According to the company, the new variants aim to enhance flexibility for families while maintaining focus on safety and convenience features such as Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), six airbags, Hill-start Assist Control, and the Kia Connect suite for remote access and real-time tracking.
Atul SoodSenior Vice President and National Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said the expanded lineup was designed to offer consumers more options while maintaining the brand’s focus on customer needs.
“The lineup expansion introduces the HTX(O) trim and six-seater variants to give customers greater choice without compromise,” he said.
The new variants will be available across Kia showrooms in India from October 13, 2025.
