The MG Windsor EV line-up has been bolstered with a new Inspire Edition to commemorate one year since the all-electric crossover launched in India, as well as over 40,000 unit sales to date. Only 300 units of the Windsor EV Inspire Edition will be made available for purchase, with prices starting at Rs 16.65 lakh (Rs 9.99 lakh with BaaS) and bookings now open via MG India’s official website.

On the outside, the Windsor EV Inspire Edition sports a dual-tone finish comprising Pearl White with a Starry Black roof, pillars, alloy wheels, and ORVMs. It also gets a bespoke accessory pack, which includes Rose Gold-accented fitments on the fascia, bumpers, and doors, and unique ‘Inspire’ badging adorns the D-pillars too.

The interior of the Windsor EV Inspire Edition prominently features seats upholstered in Sangria Red, with ‘Inspire’ embroidered on the headrests. Elsewhere, you get an all-black finish with gold accents, including a blacked-out centre armrest.

MG has introduced new infotainment features for the Windsor EV Inspire Edition too, namely a ‘Watch Wellness’ app that allows users to view a library of wellness-centric videos on the main screen, and ‘Book My Service’, which enables users to schedule service appointments via the main screen.
Additionally, the Windsor EV Inspire Edition comes with accessories like themed 3D mats and cushions, rear sunshades, 4K dashcam, and a leather key cover. Buyers can also opt for illuminated sill plates and an animation for the fixed panoramic glass roof.

The Inspire Edition is based on the Windsor EV’s 38kWh variants, so it’s equipped with a single front-mounted electric motor pumping out 136hp and 200Nm, with a claimed range of 332km. In our real-world range testing of the Windsor EV 38kWhit managed to travel an impressive 308km on a single charge – just 24km off the claimed figure.
