Actress Raashii Khanna recently revealed the reason for agreeing to star in the upcoming film ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ alongside Pawan Kalyan. During promotions for her latest movie, ‘Telusu Kada’, Khanna confessed that she committed to the role the moment director Harish Shankar approached her, without even reading the script.

Raashii Khanna expressed, “I’ve always wanted to share screen space with Pawan Kalyan garu, and when Harish Shankar garu offered me Ustaad Bhagat Singh, I immediately agreed without even hearing the script, as I was thrilled to receive the offer. Pawan Kalyan garu is truly powerful, and he always thinks about the common people. He’s a complete human being.”

In July, Raashii announced her character name as Shloka, revealing a poster where she is seen holding a camera and flashing a warm smile, adding intrigue to her role in the eagerly awaited film. The makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, released a new poster featuring Pawan Kalyan in a dynamic dancing pose and wished him a happy birthday in style. Reports indicate that a small portion of the shoot is left, with full‑fledged filming expected to resume on September 6, 2025.
‘Telusu Kada’s box office performance
Meanwhile, Siddhu JonnalagaddaRaashii Khanna, Srinidhi Shetty, and Harsha Chemudu starrer ‘Telusu Kada’ has been performing decently at the box office. According to the Sacnilk website, the film collected around Rs 2.10 crore on Day 1 (Friday) following it up with Rs. 1.84 crore on Day 2 (Saturday). The overall India net collections for the film amount to Rs. 4 crores. As the movie is receiving good reviews from the audiences, it is expected to mint more good numbers in the coming days.On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s recent work was the action film, ‘OG’ which received good reviews from the audiences, especially for Thaman’s background score.
