A 34-year-old Indian-origin Israeli soldier died during the war in Gaza Strip. Master Sergeant Gil Daniels, of Ashdod, died in Gaza on Tuesday. The last rites were performed at the military cemetery in his hometown on Wednesday. Israeli security forces said Gil was one of two soldiers killed during the war in the Gaza Strip.
The Indian Jewish Heritage Center said, 'Israel lost many of its soldiers in this war. Sons and daughters came forward and took part in the defense of all Israel. We are mourning the death of another of our soldiers. After the start of the war, Gill went into reserve on 10 October. May his soul rest in peace.
The engagement took place a month ago
Gil Daniels' friend told that he (Gil) got engaged only a month ago. He has described Gill's death as a big loss. Since the start of ground operations in Gaza, around 86 Israeli soldiers have died. Since the attack in Israel on October 7, four soldiers of Indian origin have been killed.
