The Galaxy M34 is confirmed to receive four generations of OS updates and up to five years of security updates.
Samsung’s latest battery-focused handset, the Galaxy M34 5G, is now up for grabs on Amazon, Samsung.com, and at select retail stores. The phone, which comes with a 6,000mAh battery, promises to last for up to 2 days.
Under the hood is Samsung’s in-house chipset, Exynos 1280, which is the same processor that powered last year’s Galaxy A53. Other features include a 120Hz 6.5” Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, a triple camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary camera, and a no-frills design.
But perhaps the most compelling aspect of the Galaxy M34 5G is its software support. Samsung has confirmed four generations of OS updates and up to five years of security updates with this phone. That’s significant considering the phone starts at an introductory price of Rs 16,999 (bank offers included).

Aside from this, the Galaxy M34 5G features all the bells and whistles you can expect from a device running One UI. There’s the Voice Focus feature onboard to minimise background noise during voice and video calls, Fun Mode with 16 inbuilt lenses, Samsung Wallet support, and Knox Security. Dolby Atmos is present too.
The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is available in three colours – Midnight Blue, Prism Silver & Waterfall Blue. It starts at Rs 18,999 for the 6+128GB variant and Rs 20,999 for the 8+128GB variant.
