MUMBAI – A Railway Security Force jawan shot dead 4 people in a train near Palghar railway station on Monday. The jawan opened fire with an automatic weapon. This train was coming from Jaipur towards Mumbai. The incident took place in Palghar, 100 km away from Mumbai. After crossing Palghar railway station, RPF personnel opened fire in bogies no. 4 and 5 of the moving train. RPF ASI and 3 other passengers were hit by bullets. He then pulled the chain and tried to jump and run near Borivali station but the GRP detained the accused RPF jawan along with the weapon.

Passengers who were traveling in the train during this incident said that at first we did not understand anything. Suddenly on the train firing It started to happen. There was confusion everywhere. Passengers started running wildly from the carriage of the train. Some passengers hid their children while others ran away with their luggage. A passenger said, I was sleeping when the firing took place. I got scared after hearing the sound of gunshot suddenly. At first it seemed like a train wreck. But when he opened his eyes, he saw dead bodies lying in a pool of blood in front of him. He said that I was in a state of panic.

So suddenly on the passengers of the train firing As a result, all the passengers were panicked. It was thought to be a terrorist attack. The accused was shooting with a weapon in his hand. Many people were running from the box. There was confusion among the other bogies. A passer-by said that the person who had been shot had fallen down. According to the information received, currently this train has arrived at Mumbai Central station and the police is conducting further investigation. Police sent all four bodies for postmortem. The interrogation of the accused RPF jawan is going on at the Borivali police station.
Some passengers were killed and jumped off the train
After hearing the gunshots, the passengers were so scared that they could not understand anything. When the train slowed down near Borivali, some passengers jumped from the train. As a result, some passengers were also injured. The women passengers fled with the children. Sumit Thakur, CPRO of Western Railway, said that the police are interrogating the accused and the police are searching for the exact reason why this incident took place.
