Now, Sonam and Anand have shared pictures from their baby’s first birthday celebrations.The couple had a small puja with their intimate family with Vayu. The lunch was also planned keeping the puja in mind and one can both of Vayu’s grandparents in these pictures.Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor can be seen posing with Anand’s parents. While Sonam looked beautiful in a yellow ethnic wear, Vayu is a bundle of cuteness in a blue kurta and white pyjama. Sonam and Anand haven’t yet revealed their boy’s face yet, but these pictures are too adorable to miss. Sonam wrote, “Our Vayu turned 1 yesterday. We did a lovely puja and lunch with family. Thank you so much to the universe for giving us our blessing. 🦁 #everydayphenomenal#vayusparents.”
As Vayu is now a year old, Sonam is ready to get back to work. The actress has said that she’s slowly getting into the zone of getting back on the set and will be able to do two films a year, while balancing her work with being a mom. She’s taken inspiration for that from her father Anil Kapoor who has beautifully balanced work with family. Sonam said, “There is so much to learn from my dad, he is my inspiration, my main motivator. He has been working for almost five decades now and yet, each day he is excited like it is his first day at work! I wish I can always be like him because even I want to work for as long as I can too.”
She further added, “I’m scheduling my life in such a way that I can work on two projects year on year and keep being an actor! I think I’m in this headspace and confident to pull this off because I have seen my father do it for so many years, balancing work and family beautifully!”
