The box office clash between Sunny Deol‘s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar‘s OMG 2 has kept everyone on their toes. Both the movies have been performing well at the ticket window with Gadar 2 taking out larger slice of the pizza compared to OMG 2. While all eyes are on the box office collection, Dimple Kapadia, mother-in-law of Akshay, was spotted exiting the Gaiety Galaxy theater after watching Gadar 2 on Monday.
In the pictures and videos clicked by the paparazzi, Dimple was seen wearing a white shirt and black pants along with a black hat. As soon as she stepped out of the theatre, the veteran actress immediately rushed towards her car without posing for photographs. However, she waved a goodbye before sitting inside the car.
Dimple’s movie outing made fans recall her rumoured relationship with Sunny in the 80s. It was being said that Sunny and Dimple came close while they were working together in films like Aag Ka Gola, Manzil Manzil and Narsimha. However, none of them addressed these rumours ever.A few years ago, Sunny and Dimple’s photo had gone viral on the internet. In the picture, Sunny and Dimple were seen sitting on a bench and holding each other’s hand while being engrossed in a conversation. Their viral picture had created a storm on social media.
Meanwhile, Hema Malini, wife of Dharmendra, also watched Gadar 2 recently and she gave a rave review. She praised Sunny’s performance and said that she felt like the era of 70s and 80s was back.
Gadar 2 is now inching closer to Rs 400 crore mark at the box office. The movie has set a new record by beating the collections of Aamir Khan’s Dangal on the second Monday since being released.
