Players selected for Under 07 and Under 11 National Chess Tournament
Bhilai. Under the joint aegis of Aggarwal Jankalyan Samiti and Aggarwal Mahila Samiti and District Chess Association and with the help of State Chess Association, Idhika of Rajnandgaon stood first with four and a half points and second Anshika Patel, (four points) Korba Under 7 in state level under 7 girls category. In the open category, first Arnav Goyal (6 marks) Raipur, second Amal Choubey (5 marks) Rajnandgaon.
In the under 11 girls category, Rashi Varunkar of Rajnandgaon stood first with 4 points, Hentanshi Mudaliar (4 points) from Raipur and Advait Dhande of Durg with 6 points in the under 11 open category and Pranjal Biswal (6 points) from Raigarh stood first and second. All these players were selected for the national competition.
Apart from this, the youngest player of the competition, three and a half year old player of Korba, Swastik Sharma and aspired for the spirit of sportsmanship, Sahu Durg and all the winners, runners-up and participating players were presented to the chief guest Mrs. Sarla Agarwal, Vice President of Agarwal Mahila Kalyan Samiti, program President of Aggarwal Mahila Kalyan Samiti, Co-Secretary, Mrs. Prema Garg, General Secretary of State Chess Association, Vinod Rathi, International women player Ms. Kiran Agarwal, International Hockey player Mrinal Choubey, International Orbiter Alankar Bhivgade, Ramesh Agarwal gave trophies to the winners, runners-up and all the participating players. The main judges of the competition were FIDE arbiter Rocky Dewangan and arbiter Divyanshu Upadhyay, SK Bhagat, Heman Nageshwar, Alok Kshatriya, Ritesh Yadav, Chunmun Agarwal, Imtiaz Ali.
