Nitesh Tiwari‘s ‘Ramayan‘ has been in the news for quite some time now, especially for its stellar star cast. The makers have roped in Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Yash in lead roles.
According to a latest report, Yash, who is being considered for the role of Raavan in the movie, has undergone multiple look tests for the same. However, Yash has also not been finalised for the role yet.
A report in Indian Express said that the makers are just working on Raavan and for that Yash has undergone multiple look tests recently.The finalisation of Yash is yet to be decided. The casting ofSita and Hanuman will take some time.Elaborating further, the report added that the makers are in no hurry and are taking enough time before every step they finalise. Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Lord Ram. Reports were recently rife that Alia Bhatt, who was roped in to play the role of Sita in the film, has apparently walked out of the movie. The actress couldn’t work out her dates for the movie and so she had to quit.
Meanwhile, other reports suggest that no actress has been approached for any role in Ramayan. In fact, the film has not yet reached the stage where they offer Sita’s role to anyone.

Earlier, during an interaction with Zoom Entertainment, Nitesh had said, “My question is very simple. I am also a consumer of the content that I create and if I’m not going to offend myself then I’m very confident that I might not end up offending anybody else.” His comments came in light of the Adipurush backlash.
Adipurush landed in controversy soon after its release as the audience found its dialogues to be extremely objectionable. The film was criticised by fans and critics who did not appreciate Om Raut’s film starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.
