Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif is quite excited to watch Kuldeep Yadav bowling in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and ICC Men’s World Cup 2023. Kaif believes that the wrist spinner will be the man of choice (bowler) for captain Rohit Sharma.
Last few years have not been good for Kuldeep Yadav. He has been in and out of the Indian team for the last three years. Due to his poor form, he was also not selected in the two T20 World Cups held in 2021 and 2022. However, Kuldeep’s form has come back in the last few months, and he has been bowling well. Because of this, he has been selected in the Asia Cup team and it is expected that his name will be included in the World Cup team as well.

“Kuldeep Yadav will be Rohit’s favorite player. In this Asia Cup and World Cup, one of the things I am looking forward to is seeing Kuldeep Yadav in form in the middle overs. Flight against batsmen trying to score runs. And the competition for bowlers taking wickets with turn is always great.”
Let us tell you that Kuldeep Yadav is in excellent form at the moment. In the recent ODI series against West Indies, Kuldeep Yadav took 7 wickets at an economy rate of 3.21. Kuldeep Yadav has played a total of 11 matches in 2023, in which he has taken a total of 22 wickets at an economy rate of 4.88. Of these, his best performance has been taking 4 wickets for just 6 runs against the West Indies. In such a situation, it has to be seen whether Kuldeep Yadav’s form remains intact in the coming two big tournaments.
