Bhopal. The BJP government of Madhya Pradesh has proved unsuccessful in stopping the illegal mining going on across the state. Madhya Pradesh government is of the mafia, for the mafia and by the mafia. Kamal Nath’s media advisor Piyush Babele said this in a press conference held at the state Congress headquarters.
Piyush Babile said that in democracy there is a government of of the people, by the people, for the people, but in Madhya Pradesh there is a government of of the mafia, for the mafia and by the mafia. Illegal mining in Madhya Pradesh is going on under the protection of the government. Babele said that the Chief Minister should tell which leaders are behind the illegal mining of mountains going on in his former parliamentary constituency Vidisha.
Sand revenue had increased 5 times in Kamal Nath government.
Piyush said that the Kamal Nath government had taken fierce action against the mafia. This is the reason why our revenue from sand mining alone had increased 5 times, from Rs 250 crore to about Rs 1250 crore, but the people of BJP made an alliance with the mining mafia and brought down this government, so that that revenue could go to BJP. Leaders can earn and their benefits do not reach the public. This is a government of mining mafias.
