Nepal created a world record for the biggest win in T20 International cricket by defeating Mongolia by 273 runs in the Asian Games on Wednesday. Batting first, Nepal team scored 314 after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Mongolia was all out for 41 runs in 13.1 overs. Earlier, the record for the biggest win was in the name of Czech Republic. It had won against Turkey by 257 in the year 2019.
Nepal’s Deependra Singh has also broken the world record of Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh for scoring the fastest half-century in T-20 International cricket. Deependra completed his half-century in just 9 balls against Mongolia in the ongoing Asian Games Men’s Cricket in Hangzhou, China.
He played a total of 10 balls in his innings and scored 52 runs with the help of 8 sixes. Yuvraj scored a half century in 12 balls against England in the 2007 T20 World Cup. In the same match, Yuvraj also hit 6 consecutive sixes in one over of Stuart Broad.

Kushal Malla scored the fastest century
Kushal Malla, who came to bat at number three, scored a century in just 34 balls. This is the fastest century in T-20 international cricket.
Earlier this record was jointly held in the name of David Miller and Rohit Sharma. Both the batsmen had achieved the feat of scoring a century in T20I in 35 balls.
Malla played an innings of 137 runs in 50 balls with the help of 8 fours and 12 sixes.
Nepal also made the highest team score
In this match, Nepal also broke the world record of the biggest team score in T-20 International. Nepal team scored 314 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs against Mongolia. The previous world record was in the name of Afghanistan. The Afghan team had scored 278 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs against Ireland in 2019.

During Nepal’s innings, the batsmen hit 26 sixes, which is a new record for a single Men’s T20 International innings. Earlier, Afghanistan had hit 22 sixes against Ireland in 2019.

Nepal scored 314 runs against Mongolia. Before this, no team had scored 300+ in T20 International. Earlier, the record in T-20 and T-20 International history was in the name of Afghanistan, who had scored 278 against Ireland in Dehradun.
