Doha: After 27 years of service, Akbar Al Baker has resigned as CEO of Qatar Airways. It is reported that the new CEO will take charge from November 5. The famous aviation analyst Alex Mackeres informed about this through the X platform. X-Platform also announced that Engineer Bader Almeer, Chief Operating Officer of Doha Hamad International Airport, will take charge as the new CEO.

From a small company with only 4 planes, Qatar Airways became a major airline in the aviation sector under Albaker’s leadership.
Last day, Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani replaced Al Baker as the chairman of Qatar Tourism and appointed a new president. Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji has been appointed as the new President of Qatar Tourism.
