Shah Rukh Khan‘s daughter Suhana Khan is set to make her debut with Zoya Akhtar‘s ‘The Archies‘. The film is based on the popular comic book which remains a huge sentiment in the hearts of the audiences who’ve grown up reading it. Suhana plays Veronica in the movie but did you know that even the cult ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai‘ had a connect with ‘The Archies’.
The initial thought process on KKHH began with this comic book.Karan Johar wrote in his memoir, ‘An Unsuitable Boy’, that, he was keen on making a film about Archie, Betty and Veronica, wherein one was a tomboy kind of a girl, the other girl and a guy. Shah Rukh heard that and asked Karan to write it. Johar then went to London to write the movie but he kept wondering what would happen in the second half.
Well, now, we all know what he wrote in the second half of the movie. The film continues to remain an eternal favourite among many. 25 years later, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is celebrated and how!
Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘The Archies’ was unveiled on Thursday and it has gotten appreciated. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film stars Agastya NandaDot, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja and Khushi Kapoor.
