Trisha Tweets Against Mansoor Ali Khan: Actress Trisha responds to Mansoor Ali Khan’s derogatory comments, call them, ‘misogynistic,’ vows not to share the screen with him ever

Actress Trisha and Mansoor Ali Khan were last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj‘s latest film, ‘Leo,’ where they played significant roles, earning praise from both fans and critics. However, a video surfaced on social media featuring Mansoor making inappropriate comments about Trisha during an interview.
In this controversial interview, Mansoor Ali Khan was heard expressing a wish for a rape scene with Trisha when he was cast as a villain in the movie.
In response to Mansoor Ali Khan’s controversial statements, Trisha took to her X account (formerly Twitter), condemning his remarks as sexist, disrespectful, misogynisticrepulsive, and in bad taste. The actress wrote, “A recent video has come to my notice where Mr.Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner.I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste.He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind.”

Trisha’s reaction was prompted by the actor, known for playing Bakasuran, who expressed his misguided notions about portraying a villainous role opposite her and articulated inappropriate desires for on-screen misconduct. Trisha vowed to avoid any collaborations with him in the future.

‘The film ‘Leo’ is the second collaboration between director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Thalapathy Vijayfollowing their 2021 film ‘Master.’ The ensemble cast includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mathew Thomas, Mysskin, among others. ‘Leo’ is the third installment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), preceded by the 2019 film ‘Kaithi’ and the 2022 film ‘Vikram.’ The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Philomin Raj, a frequent collaborator with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
