Abu Dhabi T10 has begun their journey into the blockchain. Reportedly, T10 Global has partnered with Snowball Money, a platform aimed for people to enter cryptocurrency and Web3.0.
According to an official release, the go-to-market strategy concerns giving cricket fans worldwide with physical and digital rewards. From what it’s understood, all a user will have to do is scan the QR code showcased on screens during TV and digital broadcasts of tournament matches, as well as on the official Abu Dhabi T10 social media platforms. Upon joining, every fan is expected to receive a digital reward, and even a chance to meet players, acquire autographed jerseys, own game-used bats and earn additional physical awards. It’s believed that through the digital rewards system, fans can earn rewards, engage in decision-making processes, and participate in sports-themed fan games. Registration into the Abu Dhabi T10 blockchain through the QR code is believed to be free of charge.
“I believe we allow people to become their own bank and get exposure to and also earn a variety of cryptocurrencies. I think the whole idea of Web3.0 is that every participant that is bringing value to the ecosystem gets rewarded and gets to become an owner of the system. The initial QR code is just the first phase and there are things to come,” Parul Gujral, CEO, Snowball Moneysaid.
