Filmfare posted on X and informed about the death of Dinesh Phadnis. “Popular actor Dinesh Phadnis, best known for his role as Freddy in crime drama CID, passed away at the age of 57 due to liver failure,” the post read.
Dayanand Shetty confirmed this news while talking to 'E-Times'. “Yes, it is true that they are no longer among us. He passed away at 12:00 PM. I am currently at their home. His last rites will be performed at Daulat Nagar crematorium today. Almost everyone from the CID is present here.”
