Threat received to blow up DPS school, bomb squad immediately arrived with police, search operation underway

Jammu. Delhi Public School in Jammu has received a bomb threat. According to the information received, a person called and threatened to blow up the school with a bomb, after which there was huge chaos there.

A DPS teacher had received this phone call, after which he informed the police. As soon as this news was received, the police team immediately reached Delhi Public School located on Residency Road, Jammu. Along with the police, several contingents of security forces and a bomb disposal squad also reached there.

A security officer present at the spot said that the teacher informed the school administration about the alleged call, after which the BDS was informed. He said, 'A search operation is going on in the educational institution, however, no explosive device or any suspicious or objectionable material has been detected.'
