Chef Vikas Khanna is not only known across the globe for his culinary skills and cooking books, but he is also a filmmaker who is adept at bringing out multiple emotions on screen. The celebrated chef already has three titles under his belt, namely Barefoot Empress, Valley of Fireflies and The Last Colour.
The man is now set to direct his fourth title, which is based on his 2011 book Flavors First: An Indian Chef’s Culinary Journeyfor which he has locked the acting powerhouse Shabana Azmi for the lead role.
The chef, in a conversation with India Today, shared that he pursued the veteran actress for a long time before she agreed to be part of the film. The chef shared that the film will bring an entirely new dimension to his culinary skills and filmmaking
Besides this one, Vikas Khanna has joined Guneet Monga as the executive producer on the animated short film ‘American Sikh’ . He also hosted Ektaa R Kapoor after she won the Emmy Directorate Award in New Yorka few weeks ago.
