Raigarh. National Highway 49 connecting Raigarh to Bilaspur and Odisha is becoming cursed with accidents. Due to frequent accidents on the road, it has come to be called a bloody road.
In the latest case, three people, including an innocent six-year-old, died in a collision between two bikes at around 7 pm on Friday evening. The accident was so terrible that three people traveling on two bikes died on the spot. A six-year-old innocent child is also included among the dead. There is anger among the people due to the continuous accidents and untimely deaths of people.
According to the information, there was a commotion on National Highway 49 passing through Jutmil police station area at around 7.45 pm. There was a massive collision between two bikes near Jhalmala and village Midmida. The accident was so terrible that both the bikes were blown to pieces. Motorcycle parts were seen scattered far and wide. In the accident, two youths along with a six year old innocent died on the spot. Passersby informed the police and dialed 112 about the accident. On this the police team immediately reached the spot.
Local people are angry due to frequent accidents. They blocked the road in protest against the government administration. The police team kept advising people to maintain law and order. But they continued protesting at Chakkajam till late evening. The deceased could not be identified till the time of writing the news. The police continued to identify the dead.
