- This was the first time Manchester United had failed to win a Premier League game at Old Trafford when leading at half time since 12 February 2022 (1-1 v Southampton), with the Red Devils having won each of the previous 15 when going into the break ahead.
- Since beating them twice in the Premier League in 2018 under Mauricio Pochettino (2-0 at home, 3-0 away), Tottenham have only won two of their last 11 games against Manchester United in the competition (D3 L6).
- Tottenham have gone 1-0 down in 25 of their 32 Premier League games at Old Trafford; the most one side has conceded the first goal away to another in the competition. This was the first time they avoided defeat having trailed at half time in this exact fixture in the Premier League since October 2005 (1-1), however.
- Tottenham have scored in each of their last 33 games in the Premier League (since a 0-1 defeat at Wolves in March last season), now the outright longest scoring run in the club’s league history.
- Rasmus Højlund’s opener was Manchester United’s earliest Premier League goal at Old Trafford (02:32) since December 2020 against Leeds (01:07, Scott McTominay).
- Marcus Rashford scored his first goal at Old Trafford this season, with his previous one for Manchester United coming against Chelsea last May. Today was his 14th home appearance of 2023-24 across all competitions, while he netted with what was his 32nd shot across those outings.
- Since the start of December, no player has scored more goals in the Premier League than Spurs’ Richarlison (six – joint-most along with Dominic Solanke). The Brazilian’s six goals in his last six Premier League games is as many as he’d netted in his last 47 combined appearances beforehand (six).
- Tottenham full back Pedro Porro registered his seventh assist of the season in the Premier League – the joint-most of any defender across Europe’s big five leagues this term (also seven for Kieran Trippier).
- This was the first time that Tottenham had started a Premier League match without both Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in the starting XI since March 2020 (vs Burnley). Following today’s draw, they’ve failed to win each of their last five league games when neither player has featured (D3 L2).
