Bollywood actress Ananya Blacksmith turned heads as she made her debut at the ongoing Paris Haute Couture Week 2024. The beauty turned show-stopper for designer Rahul Mishraand rocked one of his dramatic ‘superhero’ outfits.
Ananya strutted down the ramp in a black butterfly sieve dress with shimmery detailing. The ensemble featured butterflies on a sieve that the actress held in front of her as she walked down the runway in a bodycon mini dress.
The actress shared a snippet from the show on her social media, expressing her excitement, “Walking for @rahulmishra_7 at Paris Couture week.”Videos and photos of Ananya ruling the ramp soon took over social media with fans going gaga over her look.Many even lauded her for her strut down the ramp while others noted that she may just be the youngest Bollywood actress to model on the international stage.

While the beauty did receive praise, there were a bunch of netizens who did not miss the opportunity to tease her for her highly publicised romance with ‘Night Manager’ actor Aditya Roy Kapur. Reacting to a video of the actress, a netizen teased, “Karva Chauth practice.”

Another wrote, “I think it’s a reflection of the concept of filters on social media? Yeah the walk, yeah the karwa chauth channi, BUT look how it’s giving glitter with a filter on but a plain black dress IRL.”

Mishra’s collection, titled ‘Superheroes’, draws inspiration from the insect kingdom, particularly those on the brink of extinction or facing imminent threats. In an Instagram post, the designer shared, “Beyond my own comfort zone, I look back once more at those who’ve been here before me. I seek to not just appreciate the beauty or the vividness of the insect kingdom but also challenge our whole conditioning/education towards how we treat insects and feel the emotions otherwise coming from a primal notion of fear.”

On the professional front, Ananya recently garnered praise for her role in the film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’. The actress will soon make her web series debut in the series ‘Call Me Bae’. She also has a bunch of other Bollywood films lined up.
