CMS Founder Jagdish Gandhi: City Montessori School (CMS) Lucknow Founder of Dr. Jagdish Gandhi was also active in politics. CMS CPRO Hariom Sharma, who was elected member of the Legislative Assembly in 1969, said that Dr. Gandhi was born on 10 November 1936 in the house of Patwari Phoolchand Agarwal of Barsauli village in Sikandrarau tehsil of Aligarh. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave, he took the surname Gandhi. Dr. Gandhi was from Sikandrau in Uttar Pradesh from 1969 to 1974. Was a member of the Legislative Assembly. He was also the President of the Students Union of Lucknow University.

Hari Om Sharma said that the mortal remains of Jagdish Gandhi will be kept at CMS Gomti Nagar II Campus on Tuesday from 12.30 pm to 5 pm. The last rites will be performed on Wednesday as per Bahai customs in the cemetery located near Baikunthdham.
