Dinesh Karthik retired from cricket after the end of 2024 IPL. Karthik performed brilliantly for Bengaluru in the 2024 IPL season.
Karthik scored 326 runs from 15 matches including two fifties. Karthik batted at an average of 36.22 and a strike rate of 187.36.
Karthik started his IPL career in 2008. So far, the player has scored 4842 runs from 234 innings in 257 matches in IPL. The player has also scored the highest score of 97 runs. Although he has not scored centuries yet, he has scored 22 fifties.
Meanwhile, in the last IPL this season, Royal Challengers lost seven of their first eight matches. But then Bengaluru surprised everyone by winning all the six matches and progressed to the playoffs.
But Bengaluru ended their title dream this season after losing to Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator. Fans strongly believe that with the arrival of Dinesh Karthik, Royal Challengers can end their 17-year title drought next season.
