The latest generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system (NTG7) is now available in the GLE. This second-generation system makes the vehicle’s interior more digital and intelligent. Mercedes-Benz India has bolstered its SUV lineup with the introduction of the 2024 GLE 300d 4MATIC AMG Line.
This new model introduces sporty and dynamic AMG styling, featuring 20-inch AMG light-alloy wheels and a larger brake system to enhance the overall driving experience. This offering replaces the former GLE 300d 4MATIC and aims to provide an exclusive blend of luxury and sportiness, continuing the success of the GLE lineup in the Indian market.
With the AMG body styling, the GLE 300d 4MATIC AMG Line includes various design enhancements. The Diamond grille on the front features the Mercedes-Benz pattern in chrome with an integrated Mercedes star and a single louvre painted in dark grey matte, complemented by chrome inserts and a black frame.
“With these upgrades, the most advanced GLE in its new ‘AMG Line’ styling is set to continue the success story of the SUV in the Indian market, offering an exclusive blend of luxury and sportiness in one package,” the company said.
The GLE 300d 4MATIC AMG Line emphasises a powerful, elegant, and sporty exterior design, aligning with Mercedes-Benz’s “Sensual Clarity” design idiom. The model update highlights these characteristics, creating modernized visual appeal.
Under the hood, the GLE 300d 4MATIC AMG Line features a modern diesel engine equipped with ISG technology and a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The ISG-assisted engines deliver enhanced power and driving experience.
Furthermore, the latest generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system (NTG7) is now available in the GLE. This second-generation system makes the vehicle’s interior more digital and intelligent. Numerous vehicle and comfort functions are controllable via the LCD screens, which offer brilliant display views.
Adding to the luxurious experience, the GLE 300d 4MATIC AMG Line is equipped with a Burmester surround sound system. With 13 speakers and a system output of 590 watts, the high-performance speakers deliver first-class surround sound.
The front apron includes a chrome trim strip, and the air inlets at the front are sporty and distinctive. The front and rear wing flares are painted in the vehicle color, adding to the overall aesthetic. The air outlets on the rear wings and AMG rear apron with diffuser-look inserts in black and a trim strip in chrome complete the sporty look.
In terms of wheels, the vehicle comes with 20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, painted in tremolite grey with a high-sheen finish. For braking, the GLE 300d 4MATIC AMG Line is equipped with a larger perforated brake system at the front axle, enhancing braking performance.
