Hyderabad: All Indian Congress Committee (AICC) on Friday appointed B Mahesh Kumar Goud as the president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) with immediate effect, according to AICC general secretary KC Venugopal.
He said the party would appreciate the contributions of the outgoing PCC president and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Goud was elected unanimously as member of the Telangana Legislative Council under the MLA quota on January 22, 2024. He is also the Working President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee since 28 June 2021.
