The director, known for his emotional dramas, revealed his favourite directed scene from his 26-year career, and he picked a powerful moment from the critically acclaimed film ‘My Name Is Khan‘ (2010), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, KJo shared a video of the emotionally charged scene from ‘My Name Is Khan, ‘which featured Shah Rukh’s character Rizwan and Kajol’s Mandira in a hospital.In the scene, Rizwan, unaware of the tragedy, keeps talking about his step-son Sam’s ruptured spleen while Mandira painfully repeats the time of her son’s death. The scene has been widely praised for its emotional intensity and the deeply moving performances by both Shah Rukh and Kajol.
Johar wrote in his caption, “I have been directing movies for 26 years now… I look back at my directorial career with a multitude of emotions and a truckload of indelible memories.”
