Skoda Kylaq Skoda Auto India is launching its first compact SUV, the Kylaq, in India with a starting price of INR 7.89 lakh. Bookings open on December 2, 2024, and deliveries begin on January 27, 2025. The Kylaq will be Skoda‘s third India-specific vehicle.

Bharat Mobility Show
The Kylaq will be Skoda’s entry into the compact SUV segment. It will be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show next year. This new model aims to build on the success of Skoda’s Kushaq SUV and Slavia sedan in the Indian market.
The Kylaq is built on the MQB-A0-IN platformlocalised for the Indian market. This platform, also used for the Kushaq and Slavia, focuses on versatility, safety, and dynamics. It prioritises localisation, low maintenance costs, and a hassle-free ownership experience.
Design
The design will feature the modern Skoda design language with high ground clearance and a robust build for uneven roads. It will have a split lighting setup with LED DRLs and projector LED headlights, similar to the Kushaq but slightly smaller.
The Kylaq will incorporate typical Skoda design elements like refined DRL light signatures and a hexagon pattern on the sides and rear. The vehicle is currently undergoing testing in India, and production is being ramped up with local suppliers.
Skoda has seen success in India with the Kushaq SUV, launched in July 2021, and the Slavia sedan, introduced in March 2022.
