Rinku Singh: T20 hitter Rinku Singh’s situation has fallen into chaos. His batting form and position are currently out of whack. In the series against South Africa, he played at number six in the first two matches and at number seven in the third match. This made his batting position a controversy.
Johannesburg: The situation of T20 specialist hitter Rinku Singh (Rinku Singh) has become a mess. The strike batter is failing consecutively in the ongoing series against South Africa. In fact the batting position he is playing has become a big problem. India will have to pay attention to Rinku’s form after watching the T20 series. Samson and Tilak scored centuries in the Safari series. But the Indian team is losing the ability to play collectively and win the match. Changes in batting positions have also become crucial.
Rinku Singh is a batsman who has the ability to come in the lower order in T20s and win the match with huge sixes. But from last few months his talent is not visible. The constant changes in batting position seem to bother him. Sending them to bat at number six and seven is not helping Rinku Singh. In the first two matches of the South Africa series, Rinku came to bat at number six and in the third match he batted at number seven. He scored just 28 runs in three innings. He scored 11, 9, 8 runs.
But in those three matches he faced only 34 balls. Rinku Singh, who is known as a finisher, is not able to excel at the crucial time. This is becoming a concern. Rinku, who played 15 matches for KKR in the last IPL, played only 113 balls. That means he bowled only 7.5 balls per match. Rinku, who is playing only 10 balls on an average, is not able to score in his position. Rinku has scored well in the past when he played at the number five position.
With Samson as the opener and Tilak playing at number three, Rinku’s batting position became a problem. There was a situation where Rinku could not be sent ahead of Hardik Pandya. With this, Rinku’s form and position fell into chaos.
