Warner Bros. might have found its next DC animated movie trilogy. Another familiar face is confirmed for Stranger Things‘ final season. Plus, what’s coming on Dune: Prophecy and Outlander. Spoilers, away!
Croatoan
Variety reports Miles Mussenden, Britt Bankhead, Nico Tirozzi, Grace Patterson and Mike Markoff will star in Croatoana modern day supernatural thriller invoking the mystery of the Roanoke Colony. Directed by Bankhead herself, the story concerns “a father whose family road trip leads him to a desolate small town. After his son (Tirozzi) disappears, Bankhead’s character resorts to teaming with two detectives (Mussenden and Patterson) and parsing the community’s oddballs to investigate the local, supernatural legend of ‘Croatoan.’”
Batman: Knightfall
A new filing to the Entertainment Identifier Registry suggests that Batman: Knightfall could be DC’s next animated movie series. [Comicbook]
Stranger Things
Matthew Modine confirmed Dr. Brenner will once again return for the final season of Stranger Things on Instagram.
Star Trek
Michael Dorn warned Star Trek Explorer (via Trek Movie) “many things have to happen” before Worf can return in a new Star Trek project.
Again, I would never say never, I would never say, ‘Oh, this is it’ at all. But, many things have to happen for Worf to come back. It takes twenty things falling into place, and ,in this business, you just don’t have that sort of a system anymore, where there’s that one creative guy who goes, ‘You know what? We need this. Make it happen,’ or ‘Oh, that’s not a bad idea. Let me hear it.’ It’s a different world, and I don’t know what it means anymore. And I actually am slowly but surely retiring.
