Sobhita Dhulipala is getting married to Naga Chaitanya this week. The couple will get married in Hyderabad.
New photos from Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding ceremonies have surfaced online.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are getting married on Wednesday, December 4. The couple kicked off their pre-wedding ceremonies over the weekend. While photos from their haldi ceremony went viral, Sobhita has now shared photos from her Pelli Kuthuru ceremony.
Taking to Instagram, Sobhita shared a gallery of photos in which she decked up in red, giving a glimpse of her look as a bride. Dressed in a traditional saree and sporting gold jewellery, Sobhita looked stunning in the ceremony. She shared the photos along with the caption: “Pelli Kuthuru”. Check it out below:
Recently, the actress performed the ‘Raata ceremony’. She wore the traditional jewellery of her mother and grandmother. This was indeed quite a surreal moment for the actress. According to a source close to the actress, “She has worn her mother and grandmother’s jewellery pieces which made it even more special for the actress.”
Following the Raata ceremony, the Mangalasnaanam ritual takes place, which is a Telugu version of the Haldi ceremony. During Mangalasnaanam, turmeric paste is applied to the bride’s body as a part of the auspicious cleansing process before the wedding.
Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged in August. They getting married in Annapurna Studios, owned by actor and Naga Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna Akkineni. Naga Chaitanya opened up about his bond with Sobhita and her family. He said, “It’s been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family the past few months, watching the families interact has been a joy. I am really looking forward to and excited for the wedding day, going through all the rituals and watching the families come together.”
Naga Chaitanya’s first marriage was with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They got married in October 2017 after dating for a long time. Unfortunately, the couple announced their separation in October 2021, citing personal differences, and later finalised their divorce in 2022.
