Please, please, please don’t breakup. Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have “decided to take a break” from their relationship, reports People. And prom is tomorrow a Netflix special is this Friday! In the statement by an insider, they explained that the two are both “both young and career-focused” as a reason for the split. They’re not wrong; Keoghan was cast as Ringo Starr in the upcoming Beatles biopic and Carpenter has a Netflix Christmas special coming out this week. The week of a big premiere is objectively the worst time to be going through a breakup emotionally, but maybe Carpenter’s channeling her inner Kris Jenner momager and finding the positive in the negative. The timing is very convenient, almost too convenient… Does Domingo have anything to do with this?
The two were first rumored to be dating in December 2023 after meeting at the Givenchy show in September. Keoghan supported Carpenter at her Coachella debut in April 2024 and even tried to prove ‘em wrong in the “Please Please Please” music video. Fingers crossed, Carpenter dropped one final “Nonsense” outro for their relationship.
